Welcome!
Ours is a liberal, non-creedal church. With no creed, what do we teach our children? What makes our Religious Education program different is that we don't tell children what to believe. Instead, we provide a nurturing, safe environment in which children can question, ponder, and decide for themselves what they believe. We hold that there is no one right religious path, so we present ideas from our Judeo-Christian heritage, from religions around the world, from science and philosophy, and then ask the children what they think. We want children to feel comfortable expressing their feelings, thoughts, and beliefs, and to realize that each person has something to share, each person is important and worthy, and that we learn from the ways and ideas of others.

"The great end in religious instruction
is not to stamp our minds irresistibly on the young,
but to stir up their own."
