Caring Committee

Needing each other and helping each other provide a sense of true community in our church. This Caring is not something that comes from a committee. Rather it is something that comes from the hearts and hands of each individual in the church. So remember to reach out. Please contact the Caring Committee if you would like the support of the church in some aspect of your life!... Please contact the Caring Committee if you would like to provide support to church members in some aspect of their lives!

Mission

The Caring Committee pledges to build a caring community that will help and support each of our members as we experience the events, stages and transitions of life.

Responsibilities

The committee, in cooperation with the Minister, is responsible for ensuring that the following functions are carried out. The Caring Committee assumes full responsibility for these functions when a Minister is not present:

1. Sending cards for births, deaths, illnesses and announcing that information in church.
2. Visiting hospitalized and homebound church members.
3. Coordinating transportation for those in need to and from church for services and special events. The committee reserves the right to restrict whom it assists based on the committee's Transportation Guidelines.
4. Assisting with memorial and funeral services.
5. Coordinating meals and other support during times of illness, death and other need.
